The 2013 Audi RS7 is the top of the A7 model range. The Audi A7 Sportback is midsize 4 door coupe with a liftback design that competes with the Mercedes CLS, the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe, the Aston Martin Rapide and the Porsche Panamera. Only the CLS and the 6 Series Gran Coupe are being sold in Jamaica and both model range toppers now the RS7 joins that list.

The RS7 is fitted a 4.0 TFSI engine. This engine is shared with the S7, however the S7 is limited to 420 hp. The RS7 produces 560 hp and 700 Nm. It is also fitted with an 8 speed tiptronic and Audi's quattro all wheel drive system. This propels the car from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and onward to an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. That top speed can be raised to 174 mph with an optional package.

See the information below to see how the RS7 compares to the CLS63 AMG and the M6 Gran Coupe

- Audi RS7 quattro - 4.0L TFSI, 8 speed tiptronic, all wheel drive, 560 hp, 700 Nm, 0-100 km/h in 3.9s, 9.8 L/100km (28.8 mpg), fuel range = 765 km, fuel tank = 75 L

- CLS63 AMG - 5.5L V8, AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission, rear wheel drive, 525 hp, 700 Nm, 0-100 km/h in 4.4s, 9.9 L/100km (28.5 mpg), fuel range = 667 km, fuel tank = 66 L

The RS7 is the quickest, most power, most torque and best mileage. The M6 Gran Coupe has the best fuel range and largest fuel tank. The CLS63 AMG has the only naturally aspirated engine.

The RS7 is the best performance 4 door coupe offered by the local brands. The question now is will ATL Automotive bring it in?
